Job Summary
NHS England is seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Programme and Training Coordinator. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the direction of Dental Core Training programmes in Dental Specialties.
Key Responsibilities
- Induction and onboarding of new trainees
- Participation in the recruitment process
- Delivery of educational content and training programmes
- Supporting trainees in difficulty and managing their Educational Supervisor team
- Attendance at DCT Board and Strategy Planning meetings
- Contributing to the development of innovative pathways for the Dental Education Reform Programme
- Annual appraisal of the role with the Associate Dental Dean
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be an experienced NHS Consultant, SAS, SDO, or University employee with a thorough understanding of postgraduate dental training programmes. Regional travel may be required for meetings and educational events.
Working Arrangements
Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person. Staff recruited from outside the NHS will usually be appointed at the bottom of the pay band.
