Traffic Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Traffic Engineer to join our team at Telent Technology Services Ltd. As a Traffic Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance of traffic signals and associated equipment, as well as switch on/off traffic signals for third-party companies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow site specifications for quality and accuracy.
  • Be aware of safety at work and identify potential hazards by removing or minimizing them wherever possible.
  • Apply experience and skills to complete assigned work within your area of expertise.
  • Work within standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods.
  • Carry out planned periodic inspections.
  • Attend reactive faults as required by the contract.
  • Interrogate all types of traffic controllers and carry out fault analysis under the supervision of senior traffic engineers.
  • Complete maintenance in line with agreed schedules and SLAs.
  • Be on call (1 in every 4) supporting multiple contracts.
Requirements:
  • Basic electrical knowledge or equivalent experience in electrical engineering.
  • Fully accredited sector 8.
  • Full driving license.
