CNC Turner and Manual Machinist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled CNC Turner and Manual Machinist to join our team at a leading manufacturer in Keynsham, BS31. As a CNC Turner and Manual Machinist, you will be responsible for managing your own workload, allocating jobs from the engineering supervisor, and working on a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • CNC Turning and Manual Turning
  • Machining precision parts and components
  • Producing one-off's and small batches
  • Reading engineering drawings
  • Working to non-aerospace tolerances
  • Install programs, including keying from a drawing and downloading from databases
  • Selecting appropriate materials for each job
  • Self-inspecting components and reporting any manufacturing errors
Requirements:
  • Served an engineering apprenticeship as a skilled CNC Turner or Manual Machinist
  • Time-served in machining with a suitable track record in CNC turning and manual machining
  • Experience with controls such as Heidenhain, Siemens, Fanuc, or Mazak
Benefits:

  • £30,610 per annum or £15.91 per hour, plus overtime
  • 33 days holiday

  • Early finish on Fridays
