Non-Executive Director Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Non-Executive Director to join our Information and Digital Board. As a key member of the Board, you will provide strategic leadership and guidance on information, data, and digital matters within Parliament.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic advice and direction on digital, data, and information matters
- Support the Chief Information Officer and Senior Information Risk Owner in their responsibilities
- Oversee the digital investment portfolio and information, data, and digital transformation
- Ensure Parliament's digital services are secure and resilient
- Board or Board-level experience in a comparable organization
- Previous experience as a non-executive director or external member
- Relevant experience working in digital, data, and information within a high-profile organization
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to exercise independent judgement
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively
- Good understanding of Parliament and its operations
- Experience working in a complex governance environment
The position is offered for three years initially, with the possibility of extension for a further three years. The maximum term for a Non-Executive Director is six years.
RemunerationA fee of £9495 per annum will be paid, with reasonable expenses reimbursed up to a maximum of £1500 per year.
