Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our Medical/Surgical ward at the Hospital of St Johns and St Elizabeth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality medical services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality patient care, adhering to hospital policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and develop effective care strategies
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health and well-being
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the enhancement of patient care and services

Requirements:

  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
  • Relevant experience in a medical/surgical setting, preferably in a rehabilitation or stroke rehabilitation environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
  • Strong assessment and problem-solving skills, with a focus on patient-centered care
  • Ability to work flexibly, including shifts and weekends, as required
