Overview
Join our dedicated team at Elysium Healthcare as a Nutrition Specialist, where you will work 37.5 hours a week in a leading Eating Disorder Service, providing essential support to adolescents facing eating challenges and related mental health issues.

In this role, you will actively participate in research initiatives, assisting in the successful execution of projects and the integration of findings into practice.

- Conduct weekly progress reviews and provide feedback during multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Facilitate one-on-one nutrition counseling sessions to explore eating behaviors, beliefs about food, and factors influencing dietary choices.
- Offer mealtime support, acting as a liaison between nursing staff, catering services, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure effective nutrition management.
- Lead psychoeducational groups aimed at helping young individuals understand their eating disorders and critically assess their beliefs about food and body image.
- Provide family support to help relatives comprehend the complex dynamics between nutrition and health, and equip them with strategies to assist their loved ones.
- Participate in professional meetings with external organizations.
- Conduct pre-admission assessments for new referrals and outline plans for future interventions.
- Collaborate with the dietetic assistant and catering department to ensure the menu and allergen information are current and accurate.
