Role Overview: In this position, you will report directly to the Procurement Manager/Team Leader, taking charge of fostering and managing relationships with suppliers and fellow Procurement Leaders (PLs) to ensure that the requirements of Safran Landing Systems are clearly understood and met.


Key Objectives:
- Oversee a portfolio of suppliers to guarantee compliance with requirements.
- For underperforming suppliers, assess the implications of improvement requests and execute the resulting action plans.
- Engage in multisite supplier business reviews alongside a cross-functional team.
- Assist the Supplier Performance Quality Leader (SPQL) in effectively implementing supplier performance strategies and initiatives.
- Manage internal expectations with key stakeholders to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage order book activities, including analysis, processing, confirmation, and communication of requirements to suppliers.
- Review and upload supplier schedules received.
- Propose and support the implementation of solutions in the event of shortages.
- Negotiate deadlines and quantities with suppliers.
- Supervise manufacturing progress at supplier sites.
- Handle delivery receipts and manage the return flow to suppliers.
- Participate in Line of Balance (LoB) reviews and escalate delivery and quality issues as necessary.
- Reconcile supplier performance throughout the month and collaborate with SPQL to establish action plans for underperforming suppliers.

- Identify and address root causes of issues and communicate significant program changes to suppliers.
- Monitor the implementation of recovery plans while aligning priorities with program objectives.

Candidate Requirements:
- Proficient knowledge of ERP systems and MRP2 principles, particularly in SAP.
- Experience in the aerospace sector is advantageous.
- Competence in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
- Negotiation and influencing skills, along with a solid understanding of business and commercial awareness.
