We are seeking a number of skilled Construction Coordinators to join our Projects & TAR team at Grangemouth on a full-time temporary basis. If you have a background in Mechanical, Civils, or E&I, we want to hear from you

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on our Turnaround (TAR) events, enabling us to undertake critical project work across the Refinery. As a Construction Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting our team in managing construction projects, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical input to design, safety, planning, and constructability reviews
  • Manage projects where Petroineos is the Principle Contractor onsite, adhering to CDM Regulations
  • Conduct SHE & Safe System of Work audits
  • Review 3rd party contractor key site documentation to ensure compliance with Petroineos standards
  • Manage communications and interfaces between teams, including daily area coordination meetings and site meetings
  • Establish, maintain, and update key construction & safety documentation
  • Complete onsite quality checks and facilitate safe access and egress to the construction site
  • Ensure that TQ's are raised and proactively resolved for changes, errors, or inconsistencies in design information
  • Provide progress reports to Project Managers, Cost Engineers, Purchasing, and Planners
  • Keep records of site activities and conditions, enabling validation and sign-off of contractor claims or variations
Requirements
  • Knowledge of construction legislation, practices, standards, and techniques
  • Experience working with third-party construction contractors and contractor management
  • Working knowledge of the Construction Design and Management Regulations (CDM) 2015
  • Technical knowledge relevant to your discipline, including an understanding of legislative requirements and construction standards

What We Offer

The hourly rate for this role is up to £40ph, dependent on experience.
