Resourcing Group is seeking an experienced Mobile Commercial Plumber to join their team in the City of London. As a key member of the plumbing and draining provider, you will be responsible for designing and laying out plumbing systems for new installations and refurbishments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and layout plumbing systems for new installations and refurbishments.
  2. Install, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures and systems, including taps, pipes, valves, water heaters, and drainage systems.
  3. Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures for water supply, gas, and heating systems.
  4. Use power tools and hand tools to perform plumbing tasks, such as cutting, welding, soldering, and assembling pipe systems.
  5. Troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing issues, including blockages, leaks, and faulty systems.
  6. Collaborate with other engineers, carpenters, and welders on various construction and maintenance projects.
  7. Provide support to the drainage and maintenance teams with plumbing-related maintenance tasks.
  8. Perform preventative maintenance checks and advise clients on optimal plumbing solutions.
  9. Drive company vehicles for transportation of materials, tools, and equipment to work sites.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience as a Plumbing Engineer or similar role in both residential and commercial environments.
  2. Strong proficiency in plumbing techniques, including pipe installation, soldering, and maintenance of plumbing systems.
  3. Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairing plumbing systems.
  4. Familiarity with using hand and power tools for plumbing tasks.
  5. Full driving license required; commercial driving experience is an advantage.
  6. Welding skills (desirable).
  7. Carpentry skills for working on structures supporting plumbing systems (desirable).
