About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Anaesthesia Consultant to join our dynamic team at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust. As a Consultant Anaesthetist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our anaesthesia services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective anaesthetic services to patients undergoing elective and emergency procedures, including critical care and obstetrics.
• Support clinical performance targets and contribute to the development of our anaesthesia services.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements

• Be on the GMC Specialist Register or be no more than six months from receiving CCT at interview date.
• Have a thorough understanding of the NHS Constitution and its implications.
• Have a wide general experience of anaesthesia, including perioperative medicine and obstetrics.
• Be able to contribute to the full range of skills required for the on-call rota.

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

• Management and leadership experience.
• Experience of teaching and supervision of postgraduate trainees.
• Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team.
