Metrology Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Metrology Engineer to join our client's team in Malvern. As a Metrology Engineer, you will be responsible for operating the CMM machine, producing PPAPs, and quality inspecting produced product to ensure it meets industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Programming the CMM machine to inspect produced parts
  • Creating inspection and PPAP reports
  • Quality inspecting produced parts to ensure they meet industry standards
  • Driving the continuous improvement of quality systems and measurement analysis systems
  • Providing technical support to the wider engineering team
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in Metrology, Quality, or CMM-based positions is essential
  • Experience with 8D, PPAP, and ISIR is advantageous
  • Programming CCM experience is a must
  • Experience with Solidworks would be beneficial but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills are a must
  • Must be a team player

This is a competitive salary opportunity based in Malvern, commutable from surrounding areas including Kidderminster, Birmingham, Redditch, Hereford, Worcester, Bromsgrove, Droitwich, Cheltenham, Evesham, and Pershore.
