School Chef

We are seeking a skilled and experienced School Chef to lead our culinary team in providing healthy and nutritious meals to students in our schools. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the food service operations, supervising staff, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the food service operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and inventory management
- Supervise and train staff to ensure high standards of food quality and safety
- Develop and implement strategies to improve food service efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of food service operations
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food safety standards
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in a commercial kitchen environment, preferably in a school or educational setting
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
- Knowledge of food safety and health and safety regulations
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances
