About the Role

As a Care Team Leader at Porthaven Care Homes, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of Carers and Senior Carers in delivering person-centred care to our residents. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our residents receive the highest level of care and support, while also maintaining their dignity and individuality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire a team of Carers and Senior Carers in the day-to-day running of the home.
  • Communicate regularly with residents' families and healthcare professionals to write and adapt care plans.
  • Administer medication and complete risk assessments.
  • Ensure the needs of residents are always met.
  • Ensure residents' daily records are up-to-date and accurately reflect the care provided.
About You

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Care Team Leader who is committed to delivering high-quality care to our residents. You will have a natural desire to help others and thrive in a team environment. You will also have:

  • Previous experience of working in a care home environment.
  • Experience or willingness to train in medication administration.
  • Fantastic written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective leadership skills to get the best out of those around you.
