We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Parker Smith Inclusion. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of our students with Autism, complex needs, and learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to students with diverse needs, helping them achieve their personal and academic goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
  • Implement personalized curriculum and behavior management strategies to cater to the unique needs of each student.
  • Support students in developing their communication, social, and life skills.
  • Assist with personal care tasks, such as feeding, toileting, and medication administration, as needed.
Requirements
  • Experience working with children and young people with Autism and complex needs, preferably in educational or care settings.
  • Knowledge of and experience in supporting students with physical disabilities and mobility issues is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills, patience, empathy, and a positive attitude are essential.
