Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Voids and Facilities Manager to join our team at Framework Housing Association. As a key member of our Property Services department, you will be responsible for managing a fast-paced and busy in-house Voids maintenance team, ensuring that Voids turnaround is delivered within timescale and essential repairs to our residential homes, supported accommodation, and commercial offices are coordinated efficiently and cost-effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead a diverse team to provide a responsive, friendly, and informative service to colleagues, residents, and visitors alike.
  • Work closely with the Property Services Manager and central teams to ensure compliance with our own policies and procedures and the requirements of external stakeholders such as CQC and service commissioners.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address maintenance needs, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure value for money and financial compliance.

Requirements

  • Strong staff management and leadership experience, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, residents, and external stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of budget management and financial compliance.
  • Experience of working within a social housing voids environment and/or in a CQC Registered care facility would be a great advantage.
