Location: Charlton Farm, Wraxall (Bristol)

Hours: 40 hours per week or 20 hours per week (including weekdays, weekends and bank holidays)

Salary: From £25,071 - £29,245 per annum pro rata (plus enhancements for weekend and bank holiday working)

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Sibling Worker to join our team at Children's Hospice South West. As a Sibling Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our young patients and their families, providing emotional and practical care to ensure they feel valued and included.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide emotional support and companionship to our young patients and their siblings
• Assist with daily activities, such as arts and crafts, games, and outings
• Help with mealtime and snack preparation
• Support with personal care, such as bathing and dressing
• Engage in activities that promote social interaction and bonding between siblings

Requirements:

• Experience working with children and families in a care setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing situations
• Compassionate and empathetic approach to care
