We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head Small Animal Vet to join our team at Ark Veterinary Clinic in Burgess Hill. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for leading and managing our small animal veterinary services, working closely with our Head Nurse and Practice Director to deliver high-quality patient care and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the small animal veterinary team, providing clinical guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care and outcomes.
- Develop and implement clinical strategies to drive business growth and improve patient care, working closely with the Practice Director and Head Nurse.
- Collaborate with the Practice Director and Head Nurse to develop and implement clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to junior vets and support the development of our clinical team.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of business plans and strategies to drive growth and improve patient care.
- A competitive salary of £55,000 to £70,000 per annum, negotiable based on experience.
- Professional memberships funded (RCVS & VDS).
- CPD and further studies encouraged – you are learning and clinical growth is important to us.
- 5 weeks annual leave plus Bank Holidays (or equivalent), plus the option to purchase an additional two weeks leave per year with our Buy/Sell holiday scheme.
