Theatre Cleaner Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our theatre cleaning team as a Theatre Cleaner. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our esteemed theatres.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general cleaning tasks throughout the theatre, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, including replenishing supplies and ensuring a high standard of hygiene.
  • Empty trash cans and dispose of waste appropriately.
  • Clean and maintain theatre seating areas, including wiping down chairs and ensuring they are in good condition.
  • Clean and maintain lobby areas, including glass surfaces, entrance doors, and ticket counters.
  • Maintain cleanliness backstage, including dressing rooms, green rooms, and production areas.
  • Respond to urgent cleaning requests and accidents promptly and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to report any maintenance issues or repairs needed.
  • Follow established health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in cleaning, preferably in a commercial or hospitality setting.
  • Knowledge of appropriate cleaning techniques, products, and equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing a clean and sanitary environment.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
  • A positive attitude and a friendly demeanor.
