We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our team at a medium-sized, purpose-built nursing home in Newtownards. As a Staff Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, working closely with our experienced team to ensure their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, deliver, and evaluate individualized care plans for residents
- Administer medication as prescribed, with proper monitoring procedures in place
- Monitor residents for any normal, positive, or negative effects of medication
- Ensure safe storage and control of stock drugs, preventing overstocking or expired medications
- Liaise with residents, staff, GPs, and other multidisciplinary team members to promote quality care
We are looking for a candidate with at least 1 year of experience as a Staff Nurse in a nursing home setting. You should be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
