The Role:

As the Lead Mixologist, you will be instrumental in overseeing all facets of our bar operations, which includes designing unique drink menus for our guests, managing bar staff and inventory, and ensuring our high service standards are consistently met.

Your Responsibilities:
- Craft and curate an innovative and exciting drink menu that reflects current trends and caters to our diverse clientele.
- Deliver personalized service to guests, recommend drink selections, and ensure a memorable experience.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, order supplies, and minimize waste to maintain cost efficiency.
- Prepare high-quality cocktails, including the creation of pre-batched drinks, house-made syrups, infusions, and garnishes.
- Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the bar area, adhering to all health, safety, and alcohol regulations.
- Lead and inspire the bar team, ensuring a cohesive and efficient operation. Provide training and mentorship to uphold high standards.
- Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the bar's cellar, ensuring optimal storage conditions for all beverages.
Personal Specification:
Essentials:
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the bar or hospitality sector.
- Extensive knowledge of mixology, spirits, wines, and beers.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Desirables:
- Experience managing large volume service.
- Food Safety Training.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to food and beverage service.
Shift Pattern:
- Full-time contract.
- 5 days a week/40 hours.
- Flexibility is essential as you will be expected to work as needed to meet the demands of the team and business, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
