About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Domestic Abuse Case Worker to join our team at Stonewater. As a specialist in supporting the LGBTQ+ community, you will play a vital role in delivering person-centred, strengths-based support to individuals accessing our Brighton Refuge.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of customers through their journey, ensuring a strengths-based approach that enables them to articulate their needs and goals.
- Develop and implement tailored support plans that address the unique challenges faced by LGBTQ+ individuals experiencing domestic abuse.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and effective communication.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to customers, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that enhance the support services offered to the LGBTQ+ community.
