Electrical and Instrumentation Craftsperson

Job Summary:

Fusion People Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Craftsperson to join their team in West Cumbria. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for repairing, maintaining, calibrating, and testing radiation protection instruments to ensure customer work demands are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintain radiation protection instruments to ensure they are functioning correctly
  • Calibrate and test instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Work in a workshop-based environment to repair and maintain components of radiation monitors and radiometric systems
  • Provide training and mentorship to other team members, including apprentices and new entrants to the department
  • Work in a team environment to ensure customer work demands are met

Requirements:

  • Experience working with electrical and electronic instruments
  • NVQ Level 3 Certification or above in a related discipline
  • Knowledge of safety requirements and standards in the industry
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide training and mentorship to others
