About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to join our team at Adecco. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our educational institution's premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Security and Access Control: Act as a key holder, ensuring the security procedures for the buildings and grounds are followed.
  • Premises Management: Perform routine and non-routine opening and closing of the premises and respond to emergency situations outside normal working hours.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Supervise cleaning staff and ensure the premises meet required cleanliness standards. Undertake caretaking and maintenance duties, including cleaning allocated areas, washing walls, and performing basic repairs.
  • Equipment Management: Maintain and repair caretaking and cleaning equipment. Operate heating plant and carry out frost precaution procedures.
  • Emergency Response: Follow school procedures in the event of emergencies, accidents, or major damage. Test portable electrical equipment if trained and accredited to do so.
  • Logistics and Supplies: Receive deliveries and distribute them accordingly. Ensure an adequate supply of cleaning materials and other supplies.
  • Transportation: Drive the school minibus as required.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Enhanced DBS clearance is a must. Previous experience in caretaking, maintenance, or related roles is desirable.
  • Skills: Basic knowledge of plumbing, heating systems, and general repairs. Ability to carry out painting, decorating, and plastering tasks. Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Proactive attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Hours and Conditions

The working hours for this role are 11am - 7pm, and the position requires working through school holidays.
