Job Title: Assistant Accountant

Cast UK Limited is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join their Financial Shared Services Centre in Isleworth. As a key member of the General Accounting team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality General Accounting services to Bunzl UK & Ireland operating companies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support General Accounting tasks and activities, including period end close activities, reconciliations, analysis, and posting adjustment entries.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of tasks and activities delivered.
  • Provide support to other General Accounting team members as required.
  • Support the transition of ERP systems, Finance/Accounting systems, management accounting processes, and procedures to the Shared Service Centre.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance to internal processes.
Requirements:
  • Computer literate, numerate, attention to detail, logical, and methodical approach to work.
  • Ability to follow documented and auditable processes.
  • Knowledge of Sage accounting system or similar.
  • Written communication skills.
  • Organisational skills.
  • Interpersonal skills.
  • Fun and positive attitude.
  • Manage demanding workloads and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
