Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager specializing in Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) systems to oversee a significant project within our Kier M&E division.

Location: London

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent. We also offer various flexible working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Project Manager (M&E), you will play a crucial role in our Kier M&E operations, which is our in-house M&E team collaborating closely with Kier Construction.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing project execution from the initial bidding phase through to final completion.
  • Ensuring alignment with company goals following contract award.
  • Contributing to pre-contract discussions with a focus on client satisfaction and operational excellence.

Additional responsibilities will encompass:

  • Identifying and mitigating project risks effectively.
  • Managing the procurement and execution of subcontractor and supplier agreements.
  • Ensuring adherence to project quality management standards across the supply chain.
  • Leading the MEP project team, including quality assurance, design, procurement, commercial aspects, installation, commissioning, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Implementing and adhering to Kier's Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) policies, procedures, and legal obligations.

Candidate Profile

  • Demonstrated experience in Project Management within the construction sector.
  • Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems.
  • Commercially savvy with a solid understanding of contractual obligations.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to drive project success.
