About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic AI Strategy Development Lead to join our team at UST. As a key member of our client-focused AI initiatives, you will be responsible for leading our clients' AI strategies and ensuring successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Engagement:
    • Partner with clients to understand their business challenges and objectives.
    • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify AI opportunities and provide strategic recommendations.
    • Develop customized AI strategies that align with clients' goals and industry best practices.
  • Strategic Planning and Development:
    • Create detailed AI roadmaps and implementation plans for clients.
    • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform AI strategy development.
    • Stay current with industry trends and emerging AI technologies to provide innovative solutions.
  • Project Leadership and Execution:
    • Lead cross-functional teams in the design, development, and deployment of AI projects.
    • Ensure successful project delivery by managing timelines, budgets, and resources.
    • Establish metrics and KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of AI initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Provide technical guidance on AI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and data analytics.
    • Evaluate and recommend AI tools, platforms, and frameworks that best meet client needs.
    • Ensure the implementation of best practices in AI development, including data governance, model validation, and ethical considerations.
  • Thought Leadership and Advocacy:
    • Represent UST as a thought leader in AI strategy at industry conferences, webinars, and other public forums.
    • Publish white papers, case studies, and articles to share insights and best practices.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with industry stakeholders and technology partners.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. A Master's or Ph.D. in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing data, AI or related strategies within a consultancy or similar environment.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in data, AI, data science, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated success in managing client relationships and delivering complex projects
    • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
    • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
    • Ability to influence and build consensus among stakeholders.
    • In-depth knowledge of AI tools and platforms (e.g., Vertex AI, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Azure AI, AWS AI, Databricks).
