Project Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Minstrell Engineering. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the support and delivery of refurbishment and equipment upgrade projects, ensuring they are completed on schedule, to specification, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and operations, to ensure project success.
  • Develop and implement standard engineering practices, providing detailed documentation upon project completion.
  • Ensure compliance with site safety regulations, including permit to work issuing and risk assessments.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, ensuring projects are delivered to the required quality and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Engineering qualification, to HND or Degree level.
  • Engineering and project experience in automation, manufacturing, food, or pharmaceutical.
  • 2-3+ years of experience in manufacturing projects, with a blend of disciplines such as automation, mechanical, and electrical.
  • Strong H&S experience and knowledge of site safety regulations.
