The Role:
As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will assist the Shift Supervisor and Warehouse Manager in effectively overseeing the operations of the shift. This includes the equitable distribution of tasks among all Warehouse Operatives, including any agency personnel assigned to the team.
Requirements:
Proficient in computer systems, with intermediate knowledge of Excel and web-based applications.Experience with Emperica and Road Runner or similar systems is preferred.Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities, with a talent for delegating and supervising team members.Meticulous attention to detail and a strong commitment to workplace safety.A confident individual who can assertively address issues when necessary.A professional demeanor with the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.Exceptional organizational and planning skills, capable of working independently.Key Responsibilities:
Manage IT systems in the absence of the Supervisor, ensuring smooth operations during shifts.Facilitate the efficient functioning of the warehouse and maintain customer satisfaction by: Keeping the warehouse supervisor updated on all operational matters, particularly those that could disrupt service or lead to non-delivery. Adhering to the company's health and safety policies and procedures. Meeting the expected output levels based on daily site volumes. Overseeing the reworking of stock and the unloading of containers as needed. Ensuring accuracy in receiving, picking, and dispatching goods. Effectively managing the intake of products and supplies from all clients. Monitoring storage locations and conducting checks to ensure team accuracy.What We Offer / Benefits:
