Prospero Teaching collaborates with Local Authorities and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) teams across the UK.

We are dedicated to providing educational assistance to individuals who are currently outside of mainstream education, those requiring additional support, and individuals with SEND.

We are in search of a dedicated SEN professional to offer personalized support to disengaged SEN students in Hornchurch, who currently lack a formal school placement.

The student presents with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) along with complex physical requirements and has not engaged in any formal education within the UK.

The selected tutor will be responsible for evaluating the student's current capabilities and reintegrating educational activities into their daily routine while a suitable educational setting is arranged.

Instruction will occur within the student's home environment.

Given the specific needs of the students we assist, applicants must possess a robust background and comprehensive understanding of SEN.

Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working with SEND or disengaged learners
- Previous teaching experience in UK classrooms
- Creativity, patience, and a willingness to adopt innovative approaches
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to apply for a new one
- Two professional references related to child care.
