About the Role
As a Painter and Decorator with Fortem Cares, you'll play a vital role in maintaining our properties to a high standard. Your expertise will focus on addressing damp and mould issues, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment for our clients.
Your Responsibilities
- Carry out general painting and decorating maintenance work, adhering to strict quality standards.
- Effectively manage reactive repairs and replacements, aiming for a 'First Time Fix' approach.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project completion.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed using our digital systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service to client representatives.
- Proactively source and order necessary materials for projects.
- Strictly adhere to health and safety guidelines, safeguarding policies, and occupational road risk procedures.
About You
We're looking for a skilled and dedicated Painter and Decorator with a proven track record. You possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Essential Criteria
- Demonstrable experience as a Painter and Decorator.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable Criteria
- C&G Craft/Advanced Craft Certificate in Painting & Decorating or NVQ L2 in Painting & Decorating.
- CSCS H&S Operative.
- Test Certificate + CSCS Blue Card.
- Social Housing Experience.
