Electrical Field Service Engineer Opportunity

Are you a skilled Electrician looking for a challenging role in the service and maintenance of gas detection and monitoring equipment? We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Field Service Engineer to join our team at TechMet Appointments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, repair, and maintain gas detection and monitoring equipment
  • Work as a team member or use own initiative to complete projects
  • Observe safety procedures and meet electrical codes
  • Make decisions based on technical documents
  • Perform electrical testing and inspections
  • Respond to customer call-outs in a timely fashion
  • Problem solve issues and take appropriate remedial action
  • Communicate effectively with customers
Requirements:
  • Motivated self-starter with strong project management skills
  • Qualified Electrician with knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment
  • Minimum of 18th Edition qualification
  • Awareness of electrical regulations
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read schematics, electrical drawings, and technical documents
  • Testing and fault finding skills
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
  • Previous experience in servicing, commissioning, and repairing electrical equipment
  • Flexible approach to working hours
  • Full, valid driving license
