Job Title: Primary SENCO

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SENCO to join our dedicated staff team at Clarus Education. As a SENCO, you will play a vital role in securing the best outcomes for learners with SEND.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the school's SEN provision, ensuring that it is effective and meets the needs of all pupils.
  • Develop and implement strategies to support pupils with SEN, working closely with teachers, support staff, and parents.
  • Conduct assessments of learning needs and plan appropriate curriculum provision and interventions for pupils with SEN.
  • Collaborate with the senior leadership team to develop and implement policies and procedures related to SEN.
  • Provide professional development and support for teachers and support staff to enhance their knowledge and skills in SEN.
Requirements:
  • Hold the NASENCO qualification.
  • Have a good understanding of the SEND code of practice.
  • Have experience in conducting assessments of learning needs and planning appropriate curriculum provision and interventions for pupils with SEN.
  • Be able to lead and manage a team, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.
