Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled SEN / SEND Tutor to join our team, working with children and young people with a variety of learning needs. As a SEN / SEND Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering 1:1 tutoring in a creative, flexible, and holistic manner, to raise engagement and improve the outlook of their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality 1:1 tutoring to students with SEN / SEND needs
  • Develop and implement personalized learning plans to meet the needs of each student
  • Work collaboratively with our SEN / SEND Support Team to ensure successful placements
  • Contribute to the development of our tutor community, sharing best practice and resources

Requirements

  • Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS / QTLS / PGCE / B.Ed / PTLLS / DTLLS / CELTA)
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience
  • Experience working with young people with Additional Educational Needs
  • Experience, knowledge, and understanding of safeguarding processes
  • Enhanced DBS (we can assist with obtaining this at cost if needed)
