Senior Quantity Surveyor Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our regional commercial team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day commercial aspects of projects in and around the Bristol/Cardiff areas, with potential for nationwide involvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure optimum commercial return is achieved for the project.
  • Prepare and agree interim valuations at agreed dates to gain the best commercial advantage for the company.
  • Assist in agreeing final accounts with subcontractors to maximise project margins.
  • Maintain control of subcontractor accounts and minimise the cost of any variations.
  • Manage subcontracts in terms of valuation and correspondence.
Requirements:
  • At least 7 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
  • Can-do attitude, willing to travel.
  • Demonstrable experience of working on construction projects.
  • Experience working for a main contractor is essential.
  • Keen to progress a long-term career as a Quantity Surveyor.
