Principal Engineer for Verification and Testing

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer for Verification and Testing to join our team at Teledyne UK Limited. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver allocated work packages and tasks to the required standard, ensuring timely completion and quality.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including test plans, procedures, and reports, to ensure compliance with internal and customer specifications.
- Commission and calibrate test equipment, including scripting and coding for Automated Test Equipment (ATE), to ensure accurate and reliable testing.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues, including failure modes and anomalous results, to ensure product quality and reliability.
- Present technical information and lead relevant actions in internal and customer meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Support cross-functional teams, including Operations and Process Engineering, to ensure seamless integration and collaboration.
- Participate in quality assurance practices and process improvement activities to ensure continuous improvement and excellence.
Requirements
- Physics or engineering-related degree.
- Understanding of semiconductor device physics and test development, commissioning, and fault finding.
- Experience using Labview or Matlab in an industrial or lab-based environment.
- Strong analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
