Senior Process Engineer

As a Senior Process Engineer, you will be part of a world-class team responsible for delivering transformational and sustainable solutions to global material obstacles across various industries, including Automotive, Aviation, Medical, and Electronics.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expertise to production plants and developing and implementing capital and continuous improvement projects.
  • Leading the design for capital projects, including optioneering, equipment specification, and detailed design.
  • Creating, checking, and approving relevant deliverables and vendor documents, such as PFDs, mass energy balances, P&IDs, trip and interlock schedules, and control philosophies.
  • Leading input hazard studies, relief and blowdown studies, area classification reviews, and LOPA reviews.
  • Commissioning new equipment installed as part of projects to deliver beneficial operation, including supervising commissioning technicians and contractors.
  • Delivering plant optimization projects resulting in reduced operating costs and increased plant output.
  • Providing technical expertise to the operations team for troubleshooting and continuous improvement of site operations, as well as optimization of existing assets with respect to throughput, yield, batch to batch repeatability, consistency, and energy efficiency.
  • Supporting design, installation, and commissioning to ensure capital projects meet their SHE, quality, schedule, and cost targets.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Chemical Engineer with a degree in Chemical Engineering and a proven track record of delivering major capital projects on COMAH regulated plants. You should have significant knowledge of plant safety, including hazard studies, functional safety, DSEAR, and pressure relief.
