### Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Pertemps Bond. As a Test and Inspect Electrician, you will be responsible for conducting electrical installation condition reports (EICRs) in various commercial and industrial settings.

### Key Responsibilities

* Inspect and test electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, switchgear, and control equipment
* Identify and document defects, non-compliances, and potential safety hazards
* Provide clear and concise reports detailing the condition of electrical installations, including recommendations for remedial actions
* Ensure all inspections are carried out in accordance with relevant standards and regulations, including BS 7671 and IET Wiring Regulations
* Ensure all inspection tools and equipment are maintained and calibrated as required
* Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to maintain and enhance technical skills

### Requirements

* Proven background (3 years' +) in Electrical Engineering
* Creative problem-solving skills, high attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit
* City & Guilds or equivalent) qualification in Inspection and Testing
* NVQ Level 3
* 18th Edition
* In-depth knowledge of BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and other relevant standards and codes
* Strong understanding of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings
* Proficient in using electrical testing equipment and software for reporting
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* Valid UK driving licence
