Job Title: Deputy Ward Manager/Charge Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Ward Manager/Charge Nurse to join our team at Willing Care. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and support to our nursing staff in delivering high-quality care to our patients.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and compassionate individual to take on a leadership role in our adult acute care setting. As Deputy Ward Manager/Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing leadership and support to the nursing team in delivering high-quality care
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of care plans
  • Coordinating and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the ward
  • Supporting and mentoring junior staff members
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for patients
  • Monitoring and maintaining high standards of patient safety and risk management
  • Contributing to the ongoing evaluation and improvement of services
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • RMN or RNLD qualification
  • Current registration with the UK NMC
  • Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role
  • Experience in adult acute, CAMHS, or PICU settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
