We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated EV Powertrain Test Technician to join our team at RCG Moody International Limited c/- Intertek. As an EV Powertrain Test Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our state-of-the-art test rigs, ensuring the highest level of quality and accuracy in our testing services.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain multiple test rigs, including project set-up, de-bugging, mechanical and electrical fitting, and test cell operation.
- Set up and calibrate data acquisition systems to ensure accurate and reliable data.
- Troubleshoot and commission complex electronic systems with high-speed serial interfaces (CAN/FLEXRAY etc).
- Ensure data integrity aligns with customer needs and company protocols.
- Collaborate professionally with colleagues, customers, and suppliers to deliver high-quality results.
- Assist in implementing and adhering to safe work systems and company protocols.
We are looking for a dynamic individual who is eager to tackle new challenges and embrace continual learning in the ever-evolving EV industry. You will have a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering, with a preferred vocational qualification or equivalent.
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of EV powertrain, battery, and hybrid systems.
- Proficiency in IT, particularly with Microsoft packages, to maintain clear and traceable documentation.
- Outstanding communication abilities and strong interpersonal skills.
- Strongly motivated with a keenness to learn and adapt independently.
