We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Delegated Authority Analyst to join our Governance & Delegated team at Markel International Services Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of delegated authority due diligence.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Delegated Authority Manager in undertaking due diligence reviews of cover holders, ensuring compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure post-bind activities are undertaken efficiently and effectively, aligning with the wider team's objectives.
- Collaborate with the Due Diligence team to ensure unified delegated authority due diligence, undertaking delegated claims on-boarding activities as directed.
- Manage Service Company Arrangements globally, adhering to agreed procedures and standards.
- Review line slip, consortium, and master policy arrangements as required.
- Provide insight and support to the cover holder audit team to ensure effective full-cycle reviews of delegated authority business.
- Work closely with the Governance team to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements for Delegated business.
- Liaise with the Delegated Operations team to ensure high-quality bordereaux on cover holder business is received regularly.
- Prepare information for Delegated groups/committees or other groups as needed.
- Deputise for the Delegated Authority Manager as required.
- Provide administrative assistance and coordination support for internal/external audit reviews and other ad-hoc Governance & Delegated projects.
- Previous experience in Delegated Authority due diligence.
- Good understanding of Lloyd's and delegated authority requirements.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to deliver work on time to set deadlines.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
- Effective stakeholder management skills.
