Job Title: Head of Facilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Facilities to lead our Facilities team and ensure our site is safe, secure, well-maintained, environmentally sustainable, and compliant.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Maintenance and Duty Management departments, maintaining excellent relationships with internal and external partners, and ensuring the site's Health and Safety and Security procedures are in place.

The role requires a flexible and proactive individual who can work effectively across weekdays and weekends, with a willingness to adapt to the reactive needs of the site.

The postholder will be responsible for risk assessing, standard operating procedures, and reporting, as well as maintaining a safe and secure environment for visitors, staff, volunteers, and contractors.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities management, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with the team to achieve our goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Maintenance and Duty Management departments
  • Maintain excellent relationships with internal and external partners
  • Ensure the site's Health and Safety and Security procedures are in place
  • Risk assess, develop, and implement standard operating procedures
  • Report on site operations and maintenance
