Job Title: Advanced Social Work Practitioner

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Advanced Social Work Practitioner to join our team at 5 Star Recruitment. As a key member of our social work team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and families in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and manage complex child and family cases, providing evidence-based interventions to promote positive outcomes.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, working closely with families, schools, and other stakeholders to ensure effective support.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identifying strengths and needs, and developing strategies to address these.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues, managers, and other professionals, promoting best practice in social work.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams, contributing to the development of policies and procedures that promote the well-being of children and families.

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in Social Work or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in social work, preferably in a child and family services setting.
  • Excellent assessment and intervention skills, with a strong understanding of child development and family dynamics.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position, working 37 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work flexibly, including occasional evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of service users.

Rate of Pay:

The rate of pay for this position is £26.62 per hour, with additional rates for Saturdays, Sundays, and Bank Holidays.

Remote Work:

This role is based in an office environment, with occasional remote work arrangements possible.
