About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Sexual Violence Advisor to join our team at Victim Support. As an ISVA, you will provide critical support and advocacy to survivors of sexual violence, empowering them to navigate the criminal justice system and access necessary resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop individual service plans to address the specific needs of clients
  • Provide ongoing continuity, advocacy, and impartial advice and information to survivors
  • Collaborate with other agencies to ensure seamless support and referrals
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners
Requirements
  • Extensive experience working with vulnerable clients and a strong understanding of the impact of sexual violence
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risk and develop effective plans
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet the needs of the service
