About the Role

Springer Nature, the publisher of Nature, is seeking a highly skilled Associate or Senior Editor to join our team for Nature Energy. This prestigious journal publishes high-quality research and opinion across all aspects of energy, from generation and storage to distribution and management.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Chief Editor and editorial team on manuscript selection, commissioning, and editing of Reviews, Perspectives, Comments, and other content.
  • Determine and champion the representation of relevant social science and engineering fields in the journal.
  • Liaise with the research community through institutional visits, conferences, and other means.
Requirements:
  • PhD with a strong track record in research relevant to the fields covered in the journal.
  • Broad scientific knowledge and training.
  • Excellent literary and communication skills.
  • The ability to absorb new areas of research.

Salary Range:

Associate Editor: $74,000 | Senior Editor: $91,000. The salary offer may vary based on work experience, education, skill level, and equity.
