Role Summary: As a Residential Support Facilitator, you will be instrumental in providing exceptional support services to our clients. You will collaborate closely with individuals to formulate customized support strategies that cater to their specific requirements, guiding them on their path to independent living. This includes helping clients manage their tenancies and addressing various life administration tasks to promote their future autonomy.

Key Duties:

  • Assessment and Strategy Development: Perform comprehensive needs evaluations and develop personalized support strategies in partnership with clients.
  • Ongoing Case Management: Ensure continuous case management, facilitating access to necessary support and referrals to external resources.
  • Client Advocacy: Represent clients to help them secure housing, healthcare, employment, and other vital services.
  • Life Skills Development: Conduct workshops and individual sessions aimed at enhancing clients' life skills, such as budgeting, cooking, and tenancy management.
  • Crisis Management: Provide immediate assistance during emergencies, working to de-escalate situations and ensure client safety.
  • Documentation: Keep precise and current records of all interactions and progress, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to data protection regulations.

Qualifications:

  • At least 6 months of experience in a similar role or environment.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Availability for waking night shifts.
  • Strong initiative and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Enhanced DBS check required (being on the update service is highly advantageous).

Preferred Skills:

  • Full, clean driving license.
  • Confidence in managing conflicts.
  • Experience in tenancy support.
  • Understanding of complex mental health issues, homelessness, substance misuse, and alcohol dependency.
  • Relevant experience in similar positions.
