Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop machine learning algorithms for high-scale recommendation problems.
- Collaborate with software engineers to integrate successful experimental results into large-scale production systems.
- Report results in a statistically rigorous and compelling manner, exemplifying good scientific practice.
- PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Machine Learning, or related field.
- Experience in patents or publications at top-tier conferences or journals.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
- Experience in building machine learning models for business applications.
- Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems.
- Professional software development experience.
This is a hands-on role with global impact, working with a team of world-class engineers and scientists. You will have the opportunity to make a difference to our business by designing and building state-of-the-art machine learning systems on big data, leveraging Amazon's vast computing resources (AWS).
