Overview:
The Conveyancing Legal Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting our Conveyancing Team. This position is designed for individuals who are either qualified or unqualified Paralegals, CIlex (currently studying or newly qualified), or newly qualified solicitors with up to 3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
We are seeking candidates who are eager to contribute actively to the Residential Conveyancing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting and managing registered contracts, including the issuance and follow-up of contracts, as well as proofreading system-generated documents.
- Building and maintaining relationships with other professionals involved in property transactions, including local estate agents.
- Providing clients and potential clients with quotations, both verbally and in writing.
- Engaging with clients through telephone and in-person interactions.
- Reporting to clients regarding searches, mortgage contracts, and title packs.
- A minimum of 12 months' experience in corporate, company commercial, or commercial contracts work is required.
- Previous experience in employment law/contracts is desirable but not mandatory.
- A strong ambition to advance your career within the company commercial sector.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage with clients over the phone.
