SharePoint Administrator Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned SharePoint expert to join our team on a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SharePoint 2010 and later versions, with experience in migrations, design, and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Infrastructure Management: Install, configure, and maintain SharePoint Services across diverse platforms, design and implement SQL systems to meet specific requirements, and manage and optimize the performance of SharePoint environments.
  • Reporting & Support: Monitor and collect key performance metrics using SharePoint management tools, perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot technical issues using established ITIL methodologies, and generate comprehensive reports and present project updates to stakeholders.
  • SharePoint Migrations: Lead the design and implementation of efficient migration strategies for legacy systems to the latest SharePoint versions, utilize advanced tools and techniques to ensure data integrity and user adoption, and collaborate with stakeholders and manage migration timelines effectively.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience with SharePoint 2010 and later versions (Subscription Edition preferred)
  • Proven expertise in SharePoint migrations, design, and implementation
  • Strong understanding of SQL Server Reporting Services and PowerPivot
  • Proficient in PowerShell scripting and documentation best practices
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
