Job Title: School Cook Manager

Are you a passionate and experienced cook/chef looking for a rewarding opportunity? Our client, Adecco, is seeking a School Cook Manager to join their team at a brand new Primary school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the school kitchen, ensuring the provision of high-quality meals that meet the nutritional and dietary needs of the students.
  • Develop and implement menus that cater to the diverse needs of the students, while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
  • Manage kitchen staff, including training and development, to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
  • Conduct stock takes and ordering products via the online portal, ensuring efficient inventory management.
  • Collaborate with the Area Manager to ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a school or educational setting.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations, and the ability to implement and maintain strict standards.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
