Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated **HGV Class 1 Driver** to join our operations. This role involves working with a prominent fresh produce distributor, offering both early and late shift options. The compensation for this position is **£17.00 per hour**.

Shift Availability:
Both day and night shifts are on offer, with flexibility for weekdays and weekends.

Contract Type:
This is a temporary, ongoing position.

Key Responsibilities:
The HGV Class 1 Driver will be responsible for:

  • Working an average of **10-hour shifts** with adaptable starting times.
  • Delivering goods to retail outlets and distribution centers across the UK.
  • Arriving on time and ready to exchange trailers as needed.
  • Occasionally staying overnight for deliveries.

Qualifications for Success:
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Proficient in completing delivery documentation.
  • A minimum of **2 years of Class 1 driving experience**.
  • Flexibility to adjust shifts and starting times as required.
  • Possession of a valid **CPC & Digi card**.
  • Completion of a driver assessment and induction prior to the first shift, which is compensated.
  • No more than **6 penalty points** for minor traffic violations.
